How do I know what kind of water treatment I actually need?
We test your water first—for hardness, iron, sulfur, bacteria, or other contaminants. Then we recommend the specific treatment that solves your actual problem. You only pay for what you need, not a one-size-fits-all system.
Can you give me a price before installing, or is it one of those "call for quote" situations?
We give you a detailed quote after testing your water and assessing your home's plumbing. You'll see the cost of equipment, installation, and any ongoing maintenance before you commit.
Will installation mess up my house, or is it a quick job?
Most whole-home systems install in 4-6 hours. We tie into your main water line, mount the equipment (usually in a garage or basement), and test everything. We clean up completely and walk you through how it works.
What if I already have a water softener that's not working—can you fix it or do I need a new one?
We'll diagnose the issue first—could be a simple valve, resin replacement, or settings adjustment. We only recommend replacement if repair doesn't make financial sense.
How soon will I notice a difference in my water?
Immediately. Once the system is running, you'll feel softer water in the shower, see less spotting on dishes, and notice soap lathers better. The long-term benefits to your pipes and appliances build over time.

Do you use an answering service or AI?
Your call will always be answered by a real person, even after hours and on the weekends.
What if I can’t wait at home for a plumber?
We are happy to call when we are on the way so it gives you time to meet us there.
Can you give me a price for my job before you start?
Absolutely! Once our plumbers evaluate the problem, they will give you a total price before beginning the work.
Do I have to make a second appointment after the evaluation to get the work done?
No. For repairs, we can stay and do the work at the same time. Larger jobs and/or remodels will be scheduled in advance.
When scheduling, will I be given a time?
We schedule our calls in a two hour window and call when we are on the way, so you stay informed.
Do I have to pay at the time of service or will you send a bill?
Glenrose expects payment at the time of service. We take Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, cash or check to make it as convenient as possible for you.
I’ve had other service providers ghost me when I had a problem with the work that was done. How do I know you will answer my calls if I have an issue?
Glenrose has been serving our community since 1987 and will continue to do so. We warranty our products and installations for one year, but will always be here to help navigate your plumbing needs. We are just a phone call away!
How do I reach you if I am having an after hours emergency?

What if I don’t like the fixtures you have with you?
We work with several local plumbing wholesalers where you can view products in a showroom. Once you have made a choice, we can pick it up and install it for you.
Will I be charged extra if the plumber has to leave my job to get parts?
No. Your parts are included in the up front price given at the beginning of your job.
Can I supply my own parts?
We are happy to install customer supplied parts but cannot provide a warranty on parts we do not provide.
Can my child meet the plumber if I am unavailable?
Whoever meets the plumber must be over 18 years old.
Is it okay for my pets to be out and about when the plumber is on site?
We love fur babies but ask that if they would be uncomfortable with a stranger, please limit the exposure as needed for everyone’s safety.
